Simon discusses why he selected Tom Ovenden as SIM Motorsport's first Race Ambassador.

SIM Motorsport announces their new Racing Ambassador - Tom Ovenden

We are pleased to announce that Tom Ovenden is SIM Motorsport's Racing Ambassador.

" At SIM Motorsport we are proud to support young up and coming talent within UK Motor Racing. It is clear that as sim technology has advanced, any driver that has a goal to be at the pinnacle of the sport and a consistent winner, needs to spend time in a high spec simulator. It enables them to improve both their race driving skills and race craft, as well as better understanding how best to set up the car to ensure that they are quick out of the box at a circuit they may not be too familiar with. Our simulators created by AXSIM are of the very highest specification and designed to be As Real As It Gets!

Tom is an extremely impressive racing driver, with a great racing CV. His early start and success on two wheels, then Rallycross, before switching to karting and progressing to the Quaife Mini Trophy Challenge in the Cooper Class, clearly demonstrates his ability to adapt quickly. We were particularly impressed not just with his obvious speed, but his professional approach to his development and better understanding of what he can do to get the maximum from the car. SIM Motorsport will provide race simulation support to Tom and is proud to be part of his future success"   Simon Ricketts. Founder & CEO.
