FAST TRACK TO MOTORSPORT

What is Fast Track To Motorsport?

SIM Motorsport has been delighted to be part of the search for the next SIM to Track Racing driver.

The competition gave the entrants the chance to show what they could do, with the top three getting to drive a selection of professional BTCC cars at Brands Hatch worth over £2,500 and the winner from that day ultimately given the chance to win a drive with
TEAM HARD in the British Endurance Championship in 2024 worth £150,000!

This was an opportunity like no other as SIM Motorsport  joined forces with Race Car Experiences.

Together, we are set to revolutionise the race car simulation scene in the South East region, unveiling the ultimate racing opportunity of a lifetime.

Entries for 2023 are now closed, but follow us on social media to get notified when we open the round for 2024.

The top three drivers from the 2023 entries will be invited to take part in the track day drive-off at Brands Hatch, worth £2,500, competing against the top three drivers from the South-West. Race Car Experiences will take you through your paces providing tips and training with professional instructors before a drive-off in the 2021 BTCC spec’d Mercedes A Class.

The winner will go forward to compete against other drivers in the Team HARD Racing Scholarship shoot-out. The overall winner will go on to compete for Team HARD Racing and will win the £150,000 scholarship.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

WHAT IS FAST TRACK TO MOTORSPORT?

Race Car Experiences have teamed up with SIM Motorsport to bring the 2023 FastTrack to Motorsport Competition, a Gran Turismo style racing simulator challenge that can lead to a motor racing scholarship entry with Team Hard. Our aim is to find motorsport talent of the future.

Competitors will take part in three qualifying rounds, with the fastest lap from each being combined to create a leader board. The fastest 20 drivers will be invited to take part in a semi-final race on 7th October. The fastest 10 drivers will then be invited to take part in the final on 22nd October. The top three finalists will then join the finalists from the South-West at Brands Hatch with Race Car Experiences on 2nd November to test drive three amazing race cars at including the BTCC Mercedes A Class. The winner from this day will receive entry into the Team Hard Scholorship Programme, with the opportunity to win a fully paid race seat in the British Endurance Championship in 2024.

WHO CAN ENTER?

Anyone with a full UK driver’s license can enter, or anyone over the age of 16 with a senior race license. Novice Race license holders can enter, however as we are trying to help find new talent and remove their barriers to entry, Championship entrants with full ARDS License are excluded from entry. For clarification, please contact SIM Motorsport.
