FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing such as jeans, and a t-shirt with collar, along with flat soled, slim fitting shoes. High heels are not permitted. Wide, heavy soled boots or shoes are not recommended. If you have your own race suit, gloves or boots, please do feel free to wear these.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE
We ask that you arrive 10 mins before your booking time so that you can register at Race Control. There are refreshments and a licensed bar available at our trackside suite.
WILL I GET BRIEFED ON HOW TO USE THE SIMULATOR?
Every driver is given a briefing on the simulators and tips on how to ensure you get the most fun from your event.
CAN I GET PRIVATE TUITION?
SIM Motorsport always has a qualified racing driver present at the Race Centre, so we can provide private tuition. Simply contact us or ask the Race Director when at the Race Centre.
DO I NEED TO USE RACING GLOVES?
Yes, racing gloves are required. One of the immersive simulations comes from the steering wheel, just the same as an actual race car. Race gloves provide better feel and grip, which helps your driving technique and will lessen hand fatigue to ensure that you can keep racing for longer. Don't worry if you don't have your own pair, SIM Motorsport provides racing gloves for your experience or you could buy a pair from our merchandise shop.
DO I NEED A RACE HELMET?
Race helmets are not required, although, feel free to wear a race helmet if practicing for a real race car event to gain full authenticity.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ARRIVE?
There is free parking at Pier Approach. Go to the entrance and you will see the signing on desk.
CAN I USE MY COMPANY BRANDING?
Whilst our Shared events do not include any branding opportunities, our Exclusive events offer many options as standard. These include having your logo displayed around the race circuits, on the vehicles, your PDF invitation brochure, on our TV screens across the Race Centre, printed on the certificates that we provide to each guest and also included on the trophies presented to the winning drivers. In addition, should you have any pop-up banners, flags or other branded material that you would like to use, it may be possible to accommodate this. Please contact us for further details.
CAN I BRING A CAMERA?
You are very welcome to bring a camera to your event.
Where can I read your Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy?
I AM POSSIBLY OUTSIDE YOUR CRITERIA ON HEIGHT AND WEIGHT - CAN I STILL ATTEND?
We will do our best to accommodate all guests outside of our height and weight criteria of 18 stone (114KG) and 5' - 6' 4" (153 cm - 193 cm). If you fall outside these measurements, please contact us so that we can advise further
